Les Carlsen of Bloodgood provides commentary and introduces tracks from some of the heaviest of all Christian metal bands in this Easter compilation. – Rewind Episode 32 includes music from “Frontline Presents: The Passion”, a heavy metal Easter compilation. This new collection begins with landmark Christian artist, Bloodgood, ushering us into the remembrance of the Last Supper with “Eat The Flesh” before retelling Christ’s arrest from the viewpoint of Pontius Pilate through their hit, “Crucify.” So who better to guest host the show than Bloodgood lead singer, Les Carlsen?!

Frontline Celebrates Black History month with a Gospel compilation. – Rewind Episode 31 includes music from “Frontline GOSPEL”, a collection of tracks from some of the label’s favorite Gospel albums. In celebration of Black History Month (February) executive producer, Adel Meisenheimer, calls one of her peers, April Washington, founder and president of Habakkuk Music, home to Stellar, Dove and Grammy award winning artists. Topics include the influence on Black Gospel by choirs, the Winans family and hip-hop /rap. Listeners will hear music from artists who influenced Gospel music in the early 1990s. Releases include multi-award winner, Nicole C. Mullen; Angie & Debbie Winans self-titled album originally released on Capitol Records with Whitney Houston singing background; and Gospel Gangstaz rapping with the U.C.L.A. Gospel Choir.

Remembering Gene Eugene of Adam Again – Remembering Gene Eugene (digital release on Brainstorm Artists Int’l 1/21/14) is a thoughtful look at the life and music of former member of Adam Again and The Lost Dogs, as told by his friends and peers. Testimonies surround solo recordings of 3 cover songs, the last ones Gene made.

Life Savers Underground Feature. Plus interview with Michael Knott. – Rewind Episode 28 features music from L.S.U. (a.k.a. Life Savers Underground), one of many Michael Knott band names. The show uses footage from a Knott in-studio interview by Rewind host, Brian Healy. It is timed perfectly with the digital release of 3 L.S.U. albums, originally on Blonde Vinyl and Siren Records. Knott spontaneously writes and plays songs and relates colorful stories, including an experience with late pastor, Chuck Smith.

Host Brian Healy interviews his good friend, Michael Knott, in the Rewind dairy farm studio. Knott breaks into spontaneous guitar and mandolin strumming, song-writing and acoustic renditions of a couple songs. Healy and Knott share stories and commentary on Knott’s solo albums SCREAMING BRITTLE SIREN, ROCKET AND A BOMB and LifeSavers’ POPLIFE, HUNTINGTON BEACH releases.
