In 2nd Corinthians 3:18 it says that we are being “transformed into his image.” But the question remains- how do we end up bring shaped into the image and likeness of Jesus? And what does the image and likeness of Jesus even look like? Galatians 5:22-23- the Scripture text that talks about the Fruit of the Spirit, give us an idea of what it looks like to live out the image and likeness of Jesus in our own lives and out into the world. 

After spending two weeks on foundational texts- John 15:1-8 (abiding in Jesus) and Galatians 5:16-23 (walking in the spirit vs, walking in the flesh) we turned our attention to the first of the fruit of the Spirit- that being love. We looked at Mark 12:28-31 and talked about what it means to love God and love others.
