Isaiah uses an image of a vineyard for Gods people that like a farmer who had planted a vineyard and done everything, God has provided for his people and in return was looking for them to bear fruits of righteousness and goodness. This message considers this call for us to bear fruit, the consequences when we dont, and how we can bear fruit by remaining attached to Jesus.

Two men went to the temple to pray. This is not the start of a bad joke, but the start of a parable Jesus told us to help us consider how we think about others, ourselves, and God. Jesus challenges us to consider the tendency in all of us to self-righteousness.

What do we do when our prayers arent answered? Should we pester God until the answer is yes? Jesus told a story that almost makes it sound that way but maybe there is more to the story. In this message, we look at faith and persistence.

Jesus told some hard stories some that were hard to understand and some that were hard to live out. This weeks story is both of those as we look at the story of a conniving manager and how Jesus apparently commends him for dishonesty. But, maybe there is something more going on here.

What is the goal of life? In this weeks message, we explore the story Jesus told of a man who had prospered and built bigger and better barns to prepare for his retirement and a life of ease but never gets to enjoy them. What can we learn from this about a life of abundance?
