31 Days of Halloween is back on the Frumess channel. Every year since 2014? I watch a MINIMUM of 31 Halloween movies. Last year, I took it up a notch and did a video review for each thing I saw and this year I plan to attempt the same feat. It is NOT easy, and I may not finish… But I will attempt it.  Rules: I must watch one movie for each day of October. It’s ok to skip a day as long as I reach a minimum total of 31 movies by October 31st. The goal of course is always to exceed 31 movies, but with short video reviews, that may not be possible.  I encourage all of you in youtube land to join me!

A Shudder Original - Who Invited Them (2022) Shudder Orginal Adam and Margo's housewarming party is a success. One couple linger after the other guests, revealing themselves to be wealthy neighbors. Smile is a 2022 American psychological horror film written and directed by Parker Finn (in his feature directorial debut), based on his 2020 short film Laura Hasn't Slept. The film stars Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Caitlin Stasey, Kal Penn and Rob Morgan. The plot follows a therapist who appears to be losing her mind after witnessing a bizarre traumatic event involving a patient.  A feature adaptation of Finn's short was announced in June 2020, and the cast was added in October 2021. Filming began that month, taking place in New Jersey. Originally set for a streaming release through Paramount+, the studio opted to theatrically release the film after strong test screenings. Smile had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 22, 2022, and was released in the United States on September 30, 2022, by Paramount Pictures. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised the jumpscares, direction, and Bacon's performance, though some noted its familiarity to other horror media.

Tommy Ramone talks about producing the Ramones and the Replacements in this interview from 2005 for Tape Op magazine. Along the way, we will look at how Tommy was the Ramones secret weapon all along. Without him, Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, Marky Ramone, CJ Ramone, and Richie Ramone would not have the punk rock onslaught that would deeply affect all alternative music that would come after it.
