At long last we tackle the biggest giant in cinema and an ode to the man that made it happen. We are of course discussing Citizen Kane (1941) and Mank (2020). We don't so much talk about the themes of the Kane, because so many people have done it before in more eloquent words than us but we do take a look at why it appeals to us as movie lovers and why it has a long lasting appeal. We also discuss Mank which probably has less long lasting appeal.

This week, at long last, we take a dive into the exciting world of bollywood, it's been a longtime coming for us as we look at Mother India (1957) and Lagaan (2001). For two lovers of cinema the first film is a real treat and for two lovers of test cricket the second isn't bad either. We can assure you this won't be the last time we jump on the bollywood train so stay tuned!
