Jesus came to dwell among us & show us the love and mercy of the one true God. From Christ's fullness, we can learn what it looks like to dwell with Christ and walk in His light even when all seems dark.

We rejoice because we are children of God through faith in Jesus. Through Jesus we can be reborn into a relationship with God the Father.

Living with the light inside of us will make us look different from a world that loves darkness. We shouldn't be surprised if hardship comes. John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ, was mocked and murdered for being a witness to the Light. Jesus himself was rejected by His own people and ultimately murdered. Yet, his death freed us from the penalty of sin and the bondage of death.

Jesus gives us hope in our heaviness, peace in our restlessness, joy in our pain, and light in the darkness. The fulfilling life that we have in Jesus is marked by the light, hope, peace and joy that can only come from Him.

Let our lives be forever changed by the light personified: Jesus.

We all long to live vibrant lives of joy, but we find ourselves trapped in darkness. We look for light in various places that bring momentary happiness, but nothing can truly satisfy us. We only find more darkness and confusion.

Into that darkness, Jesus came to bring true and lasting light. His light illuminates the beauty in life so that it can be fully experienced. Yet, light also exposes the broken things in our lives, and it can be tempting to run back into the darkness to hide. However, we can trust that Jesus loves us and invites us into the light so that he can heal our brokenness, defeat the sin that enslaves us, and help us grow into something glorious where the Spirit of God himself can come to live.

True life is found in the light of Jesus. Step out of the darkness an into his marvelous light.
