In this episode of FUCK…Where Do We Start?, I sit down with Cait for an incredibly vulnerable conversation about mental health, BPD, relationships, parenting, loneliness, and what it’s like trying to navigate life when you’re struggling internally.
Cait was nervous to come on the podcast and share her story—and that’s part of what makes this conversation so important.
She didn’t come on pretending to have everything figured out. She came on as herself.
We talk about how mental health can affect the way we communicate, love, parent, and see ourselves. We talk about feeling misunderstood, feeling alone even when you’re surrounded by people, and how difficult it can be to explain what’s happening inside your own head.
We also talk about relationships, the realities of parenting while you’re struggling yourself, asking for help, and why having honest conversations about mental health matters.
This episode isn’t about having the perfect answer or the perfect healing story.
It’s about being willing to tell the truth about where you are.
Because sometimes hearing another person say “I’ve felt that too” is exactly what somebody needs to feel a little less alone.
Cait showed up scared, vulnerable, and willing to share her story anyway—and I’m incredibly grateful she trusted me with it. 🖤
