The Titanic was designed to be a marvel of engineering, but it was also driven by one ambition — speed.
There was pressure to arrive quickly, to make a name, to prove something. But that rush contributed to one of history’s greatest disasters.

Sometimes life can feel like we’ve been stuck in the same situation for a long time.
In John 5, a man had been crippled for 38 years, lying beside the pool of Bethesda waiting for healing.
In Acts 3, another man had been crippled from birth, sitting at the temple gate every day asking for help.

Prayer is one of the most important parts of the Christian life, yet for many believers it can slowly become mechanical or routine.

Sometimes we assume that as long as we are doing something good for GOD, it must automatically be the right thing to do.
But in Acts 16, we see something surprising.
Paul and his companions were traveling to preach the Gospel. Yet the Bible tells us that the HOLY SPIRIT prevented them from going to certain places.
Later, GOD redirected them through a vision that led them to Macedonia.
This passage teaches us an important lesson: even when our intentions are good, we still need to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT.
Sometimes what we think is opposition from the enemy may actually be GOD redirecting us to something better.

Many Christians talk about being witnesses for CHRIST through their life and character. While that is important, the Bible teaches us that witnessing for CHRIST was never meant to happen through human effort alone.
In Acts 1:8, JESUS told His disciples something very clear:
“You will receive power when the HOLY SPIRIT comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses…”
The early church did not change the world through theory, tradition, or intellectual understanding alone. They operated in the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

After JESUS rose from the dead, He didn’t simply return to heaven and leave us to figure out life on our own.
He gave us something extraordinary.
JESUS promised the HOLY SPIRIT, the very presence and power of GOD living inside every believer.
The Bible tells us:
“The same Spirit that raised CHRIST from the dead lives in you.” (Romans 8:11)
That means the resurrection power that raised JESUS from the grave is not distant or symbolic. It is available to us today through the HOLY SPIRIT.
In this episode, John Giftah reminds us that the Christian life was never meant to be lived through human effort alone. GOD has given us His Spirit to guide us, strengthen us, and empower us to live a victorious life.

On the cross, the repentant thief turned to JESUS and said:
“JESUS, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
JESUS responded with powerful words:
“Today you will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)
Notice something remarkable. JESUS didn’t say “maybe.”
He didn’t say “we’ll see.”
He didn’t say “after you prove yourself.”
He gave complete assurance.
The thief’s physical situation didn’t change. He was still on the cross. Nothing improved externally. But in that moment, JESUS gave him the greatest promise anyone could receive: eternal life.
In this Good Friday episode, John Giftah reflects on the assurance of salvation and challenges listeners with an important question:
If you died today, do you have the assurance that you will be with JESUS?
