The funny thing is your story can’t be anyone else’s.

My brother turned 40 and we celebrated the occasion just how he wanted --- with a limo and Hooters. (If you know Nick, you know.) But for me, the little sister, this birthday meant more than cake and balloons. Doctors said Nick, who has a chromosomal disability, wouldn’t walk or talk, would need to be institutionalized, and ultimately wouldn't survive his diagnosis. Join me as we talk about unwavering faith, the ability to overcome and defeat the odds, all while celebrating the hard times that make the good times that much sweeter.
