  • Full Circle 9-7-18 Prison Strike 2018
On tonight’s show we’ll speak about the ongoing, nationwide prison strike that began on august 21st. The strike has spread to facilities in 15 states- though prison officials continue to deny anything is out of the ordinary…
Tonight we’ll speak with Cole Dorsey from the Oakland Chapter of the Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee and Maru Mora Villalpando of Northwest Detention Center Resistance- Both of whom are working with prisoners engaged in the strike.
We’ll also speak with prison radio founder Noelle Hanrahan on censorship and the role of media in covering prisons.
We’ll also hear voices from the inside- imprisoned activists and revolutionaries speaking on conditions, labor, and our ever-expanding prison industrial system. Recorded by Noelle Hanrahan of prison radio.
All that tonight on full circle.
