In this week's episode Co-Hosts Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson talk about their expectations for their trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. They will be going on a 45 mile hike at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore trail for 3 days and they really don't know what they are doing! Nate & Ethan give you the before hand expectations before the trip and the next episode of Full Send Living will be the recap of how the trip actually went. Carrying nothing by backpacks with a tent, food and water they will go into the wilderness of Michigan and hopefully survive. I guess we will find out in the recap episode if they both make it! Let's just hope they don't get eaten by a bear or fall of a cliff!
This week SEND IT by getting outside with your friends. Go walk through the woods. Go to a national park. Do something to get outside and be in the wild!
In this week's episode of Full Send Living Co-Hosts Ethan Bricker & Nate Thompson discuss the topic of starting strong and finishing strong. It's often easy to set yourself up for failure by not preparing yourself to start something strong. It's usually even easier to just give up on that thing you were working towards because of the challenges that come up along the way. Ethan & Nate give some great practical guidance on how to set yourself up to succeed in the starting phase of your project and how to continue to have the motivation to finish whatever you have started with excellence!
Your ideas are too awesome to give up on! Your future success depends on your ability to start things right and finish them the right way.
This week SEND IT by being consistent with what you can control. THAT'S YOU. Pick two areas in your life (one professional & one personal) that you can improve on. Create a system of how to start the day well. Prepare yourself ahead of time so that you can attack your day and the day doesn't attack you!
In this weeks episode our wives Katie Thompson & Lydia Bricker join us to discuss what it's like being married to us. Nate and Ethan both tested as an Enneagram type 8 (the Challenger) personality. This week we discuss the importance of knowing your spouses strengths and weaknesses so that you can navigate marriage and relationships successfully.
This week SEND IT by learning about your significant other's personality type so that you can learn what their strengths and weaknesses are so you can better navigate your relationship together!
In this weeks episode of Full Send Living Ethan & Nate discuss one of their favorite books "Absolute Surrender" by Andrew Murray. This book is a compilation of Andrew Murray's sermons from the late 1800s when Murray would travel and speak all across South Africa as a missionary. His message is moving and inspiring! He taught that in order to be a truly free and liberated Christian it required you to fully surrender to the work that Jesus Christ completed through Christ's death and resurrection. He believed in a full surrender to God body, soul and spirit.
How do you know when you are fully surrendered to God though? Listen to today's episode and find out!
(Ethan lies when he says he has read hundreds of Christian books. What he meant was he has probably read at least one hundred Christian books.)
This is how you send it this week!
#FSLfoodchallenge
In this episode Ethan & Nate talk about why they can't eat tomatoes and why they are as picky as two toddlers. If you LOVE the taste of Tomatoes than this episode is definitely not for you!
If there is a food that you absolutely hate eating record a video of yourself eating it and use the hashtag #FSLfoodchallenge. Why you ask? Because Quarantine is boring and this will be entertaining. So don't do it for yourself. Do it for all the people who want to see you grossed out on social media.
Any content is good content right? Right....

In this episode Nate & Ethan discuss the tension and difficulty of being fully present while fully isolated at home. We've all said "I wish I had more time to read." or "If I had more time I would practice my guitar more." But then we have the time and choose something else to do instead.
It's difficult in this season of isolation to choose to be present in life and make decisions that will continue to benefit our future. It's easier to just put on Netflix, open a pint of ice cream and binge until reality feels further away. If we spend these 1-2 months just trying to escape our current situation we will miss all of the time and moments that could benefit our future and the relationships that surround us right now.
Be PRESENT in your quarantine! Don't miss the opportunity that you have right now by looking in the past at what you don't have now. Look to your future and be present with those who will be in your future! It's easier said than done but if we all take a step towards being present it will be easier for us all.
How do we Send It this week? Don't be present in all the things that have been taken away from you. Be present with all the things that are in front of you!
In this episode of Full Send Living Ethan & Nate discuss the danger and damage that comes with living a dualistic lifestyle.
Jesus says in Luke 6:46-49 "46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? 47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like:48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.49 But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”
What are you building in your life that isn't on God? When God arrives at your request and things start falling apart it is a revelation that you were building your life on something other than God. Jesus doesn't want your life to fall apart by any means! He just wants you to build your life on the most solid foundation ever! Him! He is good and gracious and wants you to be happy. However, he warns us that building our life on something other than Him is like building a sand castle and hoping it will stay together when a storm rolls in.
This week send it by inviting Jesus into EVERY part of your life. Not just church. Not just with some of your friends. Let Jesus into EVERY part of your life and build those parts of your life on Him! You won't regret it!
In this episode of Full Send Living Nate & Ethan discuss the growing fear and isolation that Covid-19 is causing. Fear makes people do crazy things. It makes you choose worry over gratitude and it makes you choose toilet paper over food.
Fear presents 3 different problems.
If we fall into only focusing on our worries about time, isolation and the unknowns we lose sight of what we are already blessed with. Gratitude crushes fear. Gratitude puts things in perspective while Fear gives you tunnel vision. This week put things in perspective and count your blessings. Don't borrow worry from tomorrow! Choose to Gratitude today!
Ever been told "You'll understand when you're older..." by someone older than you? Ever walked away from that thinking "Wow I loved hearing that!" Yeah... me neither.
In this episode Nate & Ethan discuss what to do when someone tells you or you need to tell someone else "You'll Understand When You're Older". Experience is something that you can't get unless life has taken you through that experience. When experience arrives at your door step it brings understanding and there are certain types of understanding that can only be understood by going through an experience. Wise people are wealthy with experience! But what do you do if you have yet to have the experience that you need in order to understand something but you can't afford to wait until you're older? Nate and Ethan will give you the tools not only to learn from the wise but also to give wisdom to those who need understanding that only experience can give. Today help others learn from your experience and seek to understand the experiences of others!
More Money More Problems right? Wrong.
In this episode of Full Send Living Nate Thompson & Ethan Bricker discuss the importance of being smart with money. Money was never meant to be something that controls you. It was meant to be a tool and a resource to accomplish the goals that you are running after. You need to KNOW where your money is going or else you will have NO money. In this episode you will learn the importance of saying "no" to the things you want today so that you can say "yes" later in life and not feel bad about the purchase. Budgeting is a discipline that the majority of people struggle with. Many of us burry our heads in the sand and don't look at our bank accounts or reoccurring subscriptions and pretend that they will magically disappear. They won't.
Here's how you send it this week: Create a budget that helps you take the next step to paying off a debt that you owe. Don't let someone own you one more day. Take back your life and take back your money!
