He then talks to Jeremiah Johnson of Bally Sports Indiana ahead of tonight’s Pacer-Thunder matchup! Jeremiah and JMV start the conversation by talking about John’s Sycamores, and how despite it being a great game, the ending left a lot to be desired. John and Jeremiah then talk about how important this weekend is, with the Thunder tonight and then a game against the Heat on Sunday. 

30:02 – 44:29 – Bob Lovell from the legendary Indiana Sports Talk joins the show to talk about the busy sports weekend in Indiana! Bob and JMV talk about the Indiana State Sycamores, and the expected departures of both their head coach and several of their players. They also talk about how the changing collegiate landscape will affect teams like Indiana State.  

44:30 – 1:11:20 – JMV kicks off the 2nd hour by talking to Chris Hagan of FOX59 joins the show live from Phoenix, the location of the Final Four! Chris and John talk about Zach Edey winning National Player of the Year two years in a row! They also discuss JMV’s Sycamores falling short in the NIT Championship Game.  

1:11:21 – 1:25:12 – John takes some phone calls from listeners about Purdue, Indiana State, and more! 

1:25:13 – 1:31:08 – JMV wraps up the 2nd hour of the show! 

1:31:09 – 1:56:32 – JMV keeps things rolling by continuing to discuss his Sycamores, and the final minutes of their loss to Seton Hall last night in the NIT Championship game. He also looks at some comments from listeners of the show!  

1:56:33 – 2:10:37 – Bobby Riddell of the Purdue Radio Network joins the show ahead of the Final Four! Bobby and John talk about all of the emotions that came out following the win over Tennessee in the Sweet 16. They also discuss the evolution of Purdue star Zach Edey. John and Bobby then look ahead to tomorrow’s game between Purdue and N.C State.
