Carson talks about his rookie season, and his “Welcome to the NFL” moment. He also talks about being a part of a Patrick Mahomes-led offense. Carson describes what the week leading up to the Super Bowl is like.  

25:02 – 40:01 – Coach Bob Lovell from the legendary Indiana Sports Talk joins! Bob and JMV talk about head coach Eric Moore from Center Grove, who coached Carson Steele in high school! They then dive into high school basketball around the state of Indiana!  

40:02 – 42:37 - JMV ends the first hour with some news that IU will be releasing a statement soon on the future of the program going forward.  

42:38 – 1:07:52 – Eddie Gill from the Pacers Radio Network joins the show! Eddie and JMV talk about the Pacers comeback win over the Los Angeles Clippers last night! They talk about Myles Turner, who left the game after taking an elbow from teammate Bennedict Mathurin. John and Eddie review how impactful Pascal Siakam has been since joining the Pacers a little over a year ago.  

1:07:53 – 1:24:01 – JMV talks to Pacers GM Chad Buchanan now that the NBA Trade Deadline has come and gone! Chad talks about the Pacers decision to mostly stand pat, only trading away James Wiseman. He discusses the reasoning behind the Wiseman move, and how the Pacers value team chemistry.  

1:24:02 – 1:25:22 – JMV wraps up the 2nd hour of the show! 

1:25:23 – 1:52:33 – Voice of the Hoosiers Don Fischer joins the show! JMV and Don discuss the news that Mike Woodson will be stepping down as head coach at the end of the season. They talk about Woodson’s tenure, and how it’s time for the program to move on. They then look ahead to tomorrows game between Michigan and IU.  

1:52:34 – 2:00:54 – JMV takes some calls from listeners of the show! 

2:00:55 – 2:09:14 – JMV wraps up the 3rd hour of the show!
