He switches to the NBA playoffs and talks about how boring last night's game was.

John and Mike discuss how Richardson is truly Shane Steichen’s pick, and how their futures will be tied together. They also get into how soon Richardson should see the field next season, and if anyone in the Colts building had to be talked into selecting him. The Colts always seem comfortable with trading back and getting more picks; John and Mike give their thoughts on that strategy.  

1:15:36 – 1:26:10 – John takes some questions and comments from listeners online, including on the Colts and their not drafting a tight end early, some concerts that will be around the Indy area in the next few months, and more! He also continues to talk about Anthony Richardson and his development.

1:29:34 – 1:54:48 – John McClain, longtime beat writer for the Houston Texans, joins the show to give a recap of the draft from the perspective of one of the Colts divisional rivals! JMV and John dive into the series of events that led to the Texans needing to find another quarterback, starting with the Deshaun Watson situation. John talks about how there is a different vibe around the team that is much more positive compared to recent years. John also discusses the smokescreen the Texans had up going into the draft, as well as the young crop of QB’s the AFC South now have in it.  

1:54:49 – 2:08:54 – John takes some more calls from listeners about the NBA Playoffs! He also touches on the MLB, and the play of the Cincinnati Red and St. Louis Cardinals.
