John talks about fan anticipation for Colts training camp this year, as well as what the expectations are for the Colts this upcoming season. He then talks about the passing of Ron Sexton. 

29:20 – 39:21 – John continues to talk about the impact Ron Sexton had on him personally, and the impact of his unexpected passing. John takes some comments about the NBA All-Star game, and ticket sales for that, before talking about the Colts signing the rest of their rookies to contracts.  

39:22 – 50:26 – John wraps up the 1st hour of the show by looking at a moment in MLB history that happened 40 years ago today! He takes some calls about trying to get NBA All-Star Game tickets.  

50:27 – 1:18:47 – Lance McAlister from WLW 700 in Cincinnati joins the show to give a rundown of the Reds, as well as the Bengals as NFL teams start to reports for training camp! Lance talks about the Bengals being one of the most promising teams in the NFL! He also talks about how both the Reds and the Bengals are exciting young teams in their respective leagues, and how it hasn’t been this exciting to be a Cincinnati sports fan in some time, if ever. Lance talks about what pieces the Reds could look to add as well.  

1:18:48 – 1:30:25 – JMV takes some calls on IU, the NBA, NFL and more!  

1:30:26 – 1:34:44 – John wraps up the 2nd hour by talking about the news that former Colts running back Nyheim Hines will miss the entire 2023 NFL Season after being involved in a jet ski accident. He also talks a bit about the NFL not paying running backs.  

1:34:45 – 2:00:14 – Mike DiRocco of ESPN joins the show to give a look at the Colts AFC South divisional rival, the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mike talks about what the expectations are for the Jaguars this year, after winning the division last season and winning a playoff game. He also talks about what we might see from Trevor Lawrence this season, as well as what might be the biggest area of concern for the team. He also talks about what he expects to see from Colts rookie QB Anthony Richardson.  

2:00:15 – 2:12:39 – John previews the week to come, which will see him on the road a lot, before taking some calls from listeners!
