Nate Atkins of the Indianapolis Star joins the show to talk about the Colts offensive line, which will be missing Bernhard Raimann, and potentially Ryan Kelly and others. They then dive into the other side of the football, and if DeForest Buckner will play this week against the Rams. They also talk about Anthony Richardson returning to the lineup. 

26:37 – 39:29 – The legendary Coach Bob Lovell from Indiana Sports Talk joins the show to give his weekly perspective on high school football around the state of Indiana! They talk about where everyone is at this point in the season, as well as some of the notable games from this week, including the Game of the Week between Westfield and Avon. 

39:30 – 42:38 – John wraps up the first hour of the show! 

42:39 – 1:08:20 – Mike Wells of ESPN joins the show for his weekly conversation with John! Mike and John dive into a bit of nostalgia by talking about the 1980’s. Mike and John then discuss the Colts, and the news that Anthony Richardson will return to the starting lineup after missing last week with a concussion. They also talk about Jonathan Taylor, and how the performance of Zack Moss might be affecting his contract demands.  

1:08:21 – 1:21:14 – Former Colts linebacker Gary Brackett joins The Ride With JMV ahead of the Colts-Rams game! Gary talks about he likes so far from the Colts defense, including the play of Zaire Franklin. He also talks about some of the differences in the game now from when he was a player. He also talks about which teammates he still keeps in contact with.  

1:21:15 – 1:24:27 – John wraps up the 2nd hour of the show!  

1:24:28 – 1:49:02 – Don Fischer, voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, joins the show for his weekly conversation! They talk about IU’s upcoming game against Maryland tomorrow, as well as their ugly win last week over Akron. They also talk about some of the unrest from IU fans right now.  

1:49:03 – 1:59:16 – John keeps the show rolling by talking about the Colts-Rams game as well as talking to Tony Donahue! 

1:59:17 – 2:07:02 – John wraps up another edition of The Ride With JMV!
