He compares De La Cruz to Bo Jackson in terms of how exciting they are. John then talks about the Pacers and their first Summer League game against the Washington Wizards, and the performance of Jarace Walker.

John and Jake discuss Irsay’s comments on Shaquille Leonard during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show today. They talk about if Leonard will ever return to the level he was at before the injury. They then move the conversation to the Pacers, and their Summer League games. Jake and John also discuss Elly De La Cruz, and how much excitement he brings to baseball.  

1:18:21 – 1:24:36 – John takes another call from a Colts fan!  

1:24:37 – 1:33:46 – Evan Sidery of Basketball News hops on the show to discuss the rumors that the Pacers are a serious contender to trade for Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors. Evan breaks down how Siakam’s contract would work with the Pacers should they make the move. John and Evan discuss how Siakam would fit on the Pacers roster, especially after they just drafted Jarace Walker.  

1:33:47 – 2:00:57 – John speaks to Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star, who is posted out in Las Vegas to cover the NBA Summer League! John and Dustin talk about the rumors surrounding Siakam and the Pacers; they also talk about the Pacers Summer League games, and their performance during Saturdays game.  

2:00:58 – 2:16:02 – John speaks to the winner of the Colts giveaway of a trip to Boston to see the Jim Irsay Experience in concert!
