John doubles back to his conversation with Pacers GM Chad Buchanan on yesterday’s show, specifically what Buchanan said about the upcoming trade deadline.  

24:23 – 43:20 – Greg Rakestraw of the ISC Sports Network joins the show! Greg and John first talk about Northwestern guard Brooks Barnhizer, and how he might have fit at Purdue under Matt Painter. They then talk about IU basketball, and their struggles shooting from beyond the arc. They also talk Butler’s win over Villanova, and what they need to do going forward to make the NCAA Tournament.

47:55 – 1:18:40 – Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports joins JMV ahead of tonight’s big Pacers-Celtics showdown! Evan talks about the return of Tyrese Haliburton to the lineup, and how he will pair with Pascal Siakam. He also gives his thoughts on what the Pacers will do ahead of the NBA trade deadline. 

1:18:41 – 1:28:56 – JMV talks about the news that Colts QB Gardner Minshew has been named an alternate to the 2024 Pro Bowl. He talks about if that might mean for him potentially returning to the Colts next season.  

1:28:57 – 1:36:52 – JMV wraps up the 2nd hour of the show! 

1:36:53 – 2:01:58 – The third and final hour of the show begins with JMV taking some questions and comments from listeners online. He opens the phone lines up and takes some calls from listeners!  

2:01:59 – 2:20:33 – Northwestern guard Brooks Barnhizer joins the show ahead of their matchup with the Purdue Boilermakers! Brooks and John talk about his season so far. They also talk about his college career overall. Brooks tells John what it means to come back home and play Purdue in Mackey Arena.
