00:00 – 26:16 – JMV kicks off the show by talking about the breaking news that the Pacers are trading for Pascal Siakam and giving up 3-first rounders as well as Jordan Nwora and Bruce Brown to do so. Tony East from SI and Locked On Pacers joins the show to help John dive into the deal and break down the terms of the agreement. Tony explains why the Pacers have been interested in getting Siakam, and how he fits on the team. They talk about the compensation the Pacers are giving up, including the picks, and how that may not be as big of a deal as it may seem at first glance. They also get into if Siakam will want to resign with Indiana after the season ends.  

26:17 – 38:35 – Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star joins the show to give his thoughts on the Pacers big trade! Dustin talks about how the deal came about; he also gets into the compensation the Pacers are giving up. He and John get into why the Pacers have been interested in bringing Siakam to Indiana and how he will fit on the team. They then discuss when Siakam might make his Pacers debut.  

38:36 – 45:18 – JMV closes the 1st hour of the show out by taking some calls from Pacers fans reacting to the Pascal Siakam trade.  

45:19 – 1:11:24 – Josh Schertz, the head coach of the Indiana State Sycamores basketball team, joins the show! Coach Schertz talks about the season his team has had so far, including their win over Missouri State last night. JMV and Coach Schertz talk about some of his more reliable players, and how important it is to have players that you can lean on in big moments on and off the court.  

1:11:25 – 1:27:02 – John continues to discuss the Pacers trade for Siakam, and how he thinks it is a good move for the team to make. He opens the phone lines back up and takes some more calls from Pacer fans!  

1:27:03 – 1:30:38 – John wraps up the 2nd hour of the show with some more phone calls! 

1:30:39 – 2:00:29 – Kevin Bowen from the morning show The Wake Up Call w/KB & Andy joins the show as the Pacer conversation continues! Kevin gives his thoughts on the Siakam trade, and how it’s a huge shot in the arm for a small market team. He also talks about if there was another player he would have preferred the Pacers got. They also talk about any concerns surrounding Siakam’s durability and age. Kevin and John also discuss the TMZ report regarding Colts owner Jim Irsay.  

2:00:30 – 2:15:53 – Jeff Rabjohns of peegs.com joins the show to talk about last nights IU-Purdue game, which Purdue dominated and won 87-66 at Assembly Hall. Jeff and John talk about Hoosier’s head coach Mike Woodson, who is facing growing dissatisfaction from IU fans over the performance of his team. Jeff talks about Woodson’s tenure at IU, and what changes he needs to make after the season ends.
