Challenge: Suppose you were looking for a new church… what is the first thing that comes to mind?When searching for a church, our first question should not be, “What do I want?” but rather, “What does God want?”The good news is that God has not left us to guess! Through His Word, He has given us everything we need for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17).Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, we should sincerely search the Scriptures—examining, testing, and seeking the truth.As you search for a church, we encourage you to measure your wants with the Word of God.

What if we changed the way we think about sharing the gospel?

During a bible discussion about sharing the good news with a positive spirit, someone asked:

"So we aren't supposed to tell them the negative parts? Just say "Jesus loves you?"

But it's not either/or..

The gospel doesn't ignore sin or repentance, but it also isn't just a list of everything wrong with people.

The gospel is good news!

Yes, people need a savior, but the message a Christian brings is that a Savior has come!

We aren't announcing hopelessness - we are sharing the hope, forgiveness, and new life found in Jesus!

That's worth sharing.

Dear Drifter,

If you feel "too far gone" - You're not.

Israel wandered - God kept calling them back.

David sinned - God restored him.

Peter failed - Jesus restored him.

Paul persecuted the church - He was shown mercy.

None of them were "beyond reach."

"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners."

Don't believe the lie that you're excluded.

You can come home.

Does "fear GOD" mean "be scared of GOD?"

Fear comes when sin separates us from Him. But for those walking in Him, Scripture speaks of something different:

Reverence.

Awe.

Trust.

Confidence.

Godly fear - for a Christian - isn't trembling before an angry Father - It's standing in awe before the Holy One.

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear."

1 John 4:18

"God is love." 1 John 4:8

Without love, faith, knowledge, sacrifice and service are empty. Love isn't just another item on a checklist - it's the very nature of God and the motivation behind every act of true obedience!

Do we obey God because we love Him? Or do we sometimes focus so much on the steps that we forget The One we're stepping toward?

The gospel was never meant to be outsourced to a few voices behind a pulpit. It's people who met Jesus telling others where to find Him.

In Matthew 5, Jesus called believers "the salt of the earth" and "the light of the world."

Not just those with bold personalities.

Not just preachers.

Every believer.

It's not our responsibility to make the seed grow - that's the Lord's doing. But we can't dismiss the power of God by assuming someone won't listen before we ever speak.

Nothing changes if nothing changes.

So take a step today. Start the conversation. Plant the seed. God handles the increase.

We talk about wanting stronger homes, healthier churches, deeper faith and more meaningful lives in Christ. But growth doesn't happen accidently.

Jesus Christ does not change - but those who follow Him are called to.

Daily. Quietly. Continually.

Real transformation begins inwardly. We can't wait for circumstances, other people, or the world around us to change.

Scripture calls Christians away from noice, distraction and constant commentary on others' lives.

We don't have to know everything.

We don't have to respond to everything.

We don't have to carry what isn't ours.

A quiet life is steady. Unfearful. At peace.

And part of that peace comes from simply being faithful in what God has actually given us to do.

To be clothed with Christ: Galatians 3:27.
