The Bible speaks about the "pleasures of sin"...

No matter how pleasurable a particular sin may be to us..

In the eyes of the LORD, it is ALWAYS sin.

No matter how badly we desire it to be something else in His eyes...

It will never be anything else but sin to the LORD.

Please don't be deceived by popular rhetoric that has even been put into man's law to force you to agree with certain sinful behaviors.

Sometimes we will have days where we are just spiritually off-kilter.

For whatever reason, we have the hardest times on those days and struggle to get it right all day long.

These are the days that we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

Be encouraged though. Holy Spirit will help you and give you the strength you need to overcome these momentary struggles.

In today's vernacular, "Show us the receipt please" means...

Show us the proof that you really are who you say you are...

Show us the proof that you really can do what you say you can do.

Not only does the LORD expect the same thing from us as Christians...

But we are instructed to expect this of others claiming to be "Christians".

How can you really tell if someone is a genuine Christian or not?

Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV says, "For the vision is yet for an appointed time;

But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries,

Wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Many of us have been waiting for the manifestation of the LORD's very specific promises to come to pass in our lives. We can get tired of waiting and become discouraged.

For many of us the time to walk in those blessings is NOW.

However, even though you can see the blessing, it's still not quite in reach yet. Be encouraged though.

Learn how to patiently look at your situation from the LORD's perspective, so that you're excited and not frustrated while you are in the final stage of waiting.

It can "seem" like we don't have any sin in our lives.

Be on guard lest you get flesh-jacked like David did.

The sheer truth of the matter is that we have never seen it.

We literally don't know what it looks like, and thus we don't know
