Our Vision Statement:
We exist to:
Celebrate God’s Kingdom by reaching people with His message, establishing them as members in His family, equipping them to Christ-like maturity, and deploying them for ministry and mission in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Celebrate
‘From them will proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who celebrate. And I will multiply them and they will not be diminished; I will also honour them and they will not be insignificant.” Jeremiah 30:19
“O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:3 (RSV)
“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the Lord’s house.’” Psalm 122:1 (GN)
“…let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again.” Luke 15:23-24
The Kingdom of God is a party:“And Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king, who gave a wedding party for his son…’” Matthew 22:1-2
“For the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17
Reach
“He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters.” Psalm 18:16, (NLT)
“So, reach out and welcome one another to God's glory. Jesus did it; now you do it!Jesus, staying true to God's purposes, reached out in a special way to the Jewish insiders so that the old ancestral promises would come true for them.” Romans 15:7-8 (MSG)
“Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.” Matthew 8:3 (NIV)
“So that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world as you hold out the word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you…” Philippians 2: 15-17
“The most important thing is that I complete my mission - the work the Lord gave me to do - to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.” Acts 20:24 (NCV)
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV)
“You will be my witnesses in ...” Acts 1:8 (NIV)
Establish
“And so were the churches established in the faith and increased in number daily.” Acts 16:5
“You are a member of God’s very own family and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19 (LB)
“because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,” Philippians 1:5
“And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever… and let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts [is] the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee.” 2 Samuel 7:16, 26
