Brother Keith Brown brings an encouraging word today about where we are in our walk with Christ. Are we fans, who leave when its no longer convenient, only coming to service to check off a to-do list, or are we followers of Christ, there in the thick and the thin, helping to build and grow the church? Listen in for an amusing story about Mr. Moore!
Finding peace. Christians look to God eternal for their peace. Their peace comes from Him. We hope you enjoy today's message from Bro. Keith Brown.
This sermon is a continuation of Bro. Keith's series on prayer. From a seemingly random placed prayer in the middle of the records in First Chronicles comes the prayer of Jabez, asking the Lord to "bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!" the Bible passage is 1 Chronicles 4:9-10.
Next Sunday is Back to Church Sunday Nationwide. We invite you back to church, either your own or go somewhere new. The Lord works mightily in His churches and we believe that fellowship helps with personal sanctification and your walk with the Lord. You are welcome to come as you are to First United Methodist Henderson. Our service starts at 11:00 am CST.
You may also listen online live Sundays at 11:00 from star1077.com.
As always, we hope this message blesses you and enriches your life. If you need us, please feel free to call us.
May the Lord be with you!

Message by Tom Spellings. There are some technical difficulties with this episode, and we apologize. Most of the worship is missing, and it jumps straight into the message. We hope to improve this in the future.

Some notes from this sermon are following:
The Bible teaches that integrity:
1. Provides clear guidance-- The integrity of the upright will hide them but the perversity of the unfaithful destroys them. (Prov. 11:3)
2. Promotes family stability-- The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him. (Prov. 20:7)
3. Secures God's blessing-- The LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11b)
4. Makes us more like Jesus-- Teacher we know you are a man of integrity. (Matt. 22:16b)
