As we begin the Advent season, we start the series "What Can't Wait," today discussing hope. Hope is an act of imagination, not about the now, but about what the future could be, a future where we don't just drop our weapons, but reform our swords into plowshares. 

We stand at our gate of Hope and proclaim God’s promised future, but what makes us get up tomorrow and try again each day? Advent is a season of waiting, but is idle waiting what God wants of us?  As we wait, what can’t?
