I have always had a passion for the theatre. It’s one of those things that had such a large impact in my life, that I can’t imagine what I would be like without those experiences. On today’s three part episode, we look into the history of the stage, the origins of theatrical terminology, and the present day fun facts that abound. From the first plays performed in ancient Greece, through what constitutes a “Broadway” theatre; we’ll even explore why I think the proper spelling is always “theatre.”

Get a taste of our next episode all about stagecraft and the theatre. What's a ghost light, and why do you whistle while you work?
Subscribe now and find out later this week (maybe monday, probably tuesday; I haven't written the whole thing yet); that's a fact.
For episode 1, I thought it might be nice to get to know each other. Who is Chase, and why is he telling me fun facts? We'll go along my journey through life, and learn a few fun facts along the way — from the rail yards of the Pennsylvania railroad, to designing theme parks.
Hopefully you'll find it entertaining enough to want some more, and come back next time when we're focused more closely on fun facts, and less on its host.
