Heart rate variability (HRV) has been a hot topic over the past year or so in response to the body’s ability to recover efficiently & effectively.
HRV is controlled by the autonomic nervous system, which is made up of both the parasympathetic + sympathetic nervous systems.
More & more research is being performed in the fitness world, especially with elite athletes.
But…what about the general population in response to maintaining a healthy lifestyle?
