Hoy el invitado es Pedro Vallenilla, CEO de Cashea, una empresa de BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) en Venezuela que permite a las personas realizar compras a plazos sin intereses, y que en un corto período, han logrado un crecimiento notable, llegando a representar el 1% del PIB de Venezuela en transacciones.
Platicamos sobre su primera empresa, Tudescuenton, una adaptación de Groupon que tuvo un gran éxito y eventualmente se fusionó con la compañía establecida. Luego nos adentramos en Cashea, los retos de construir en un entorno como el de Venezuela y el impacto positivo que están generando en la comunidad.
Fue impresionante para mi visitar Venezuela para ver de cerca lo que están logrando. Durante este tiempo, me ha impactado su capacidad de ejecución y, sobre todo, la calidad humana de Pedro y todo el equipo de liderazgo de Cashea.

Hoy el invitado es Sergio Monsalve de Roble Ventures, un fondo centrado en el futuro del trabajo, que invierte en tecnologías que potencian a las organizaciones y equipos para alcanzar metas más ambiciosas. Sergio tiene una amplia experiencia viviendo en los Estados Unidos y trabajando en el sector de capital de riesgo. Comenzó como emprendedor, luego se desempeñó como socio en Norwest Venture, un fondo único en su tipo con un único inversor, y posteriormente fundó Roble Ventures, su propio fondo.
Durante su trayectoria, ha realizado inversiones en empresas destacadas como Udemy, Kahoot, entre otras. Estoy seguro de que disfrutarás tanto como yo esta conversación.
