At this point in his letter, Paul is thanking the Lord for his faithfulness to the Thessalonican church. They received the word from the Lord and it went to work among them. The Church isn't dependent on fancy illustrations, gimmicks, or fancy lights- the Church looks to and is rooted in the word of God. We hope this message blesses you in the Lord.
