#YourMum_is44 is born...!!! My (Next) New Baby, Premier Podcast...!!!
Since February 2021, I have had this audio and didn't know exactly know what to do with it!?! Recorded late last year...no actually conceived, loving labour over and beautifully birthed with the support of an amazing 'Doula' (quite literally), during what myself and 'Boom' are calling "inspirational women's week" #iww post ~iwd2021 , (for #homeedding purposes)!!!
This first episode is a frank and direct discussion with a 'Sista' (from another Mother) whom I give almighty thanks and praises to, for not only being my inspiration, but for also being technical, non-tech support, by motivating me, also as a fellow mother, the wonderful Hortense Muhammad of 'Birthing Spotlight.'
My host, (Hortense) introduced me to how to use of this medium/media, of Podcasting, as a creative opportunity to test out and explore. So after struggle for a few ages to get the motivation and or the support to start is, one of my creative outlets, I have finally gotten around to doing it!?! As this conversation, has both made me realised and recognised the purpose and importance of sharing motherhood and maternity stories as women and especially as women of colour, (1in5)...!?!
So in this partly spliced session, highlighting some of my very own pregnancy experience, it helped me to exercise the demon of my mental trauma post my last born's birth. In turn, I am happy to say helping me to with self-care and healing, reflection upon my antenatal and postnatal care/experience during: 2020, COVID19, Lockdown, Save the NHS, Self-Isolation and being 2nd time (Geriatric) Pregnancy and beyond...Lol...!!!
