This episode features Hugh Tran to talk about design, astrology, and his work showcasing their intimate weaving.

We went all over the map discussing identity, creation, art, language, the relationship between Sun and Saturn, the Aries/Libra axis, you vs other, creating for yourself vs creating for others, ritual, magic, planetary relationships, and *the wildly epic astrological deck Hugh is creating!*
This is an extremely special episode because viewers will engage directly with planetary spirits in their visual forms through Hugh’s designs. Thus, this episode comes with the ever present warning on this show to stay aware of yourself when watching and to take care of yourself always. And these designs are not available anywhere yet, so *extremely special* is quite an understatement honestly.

Hugh is an astrologer, designer, and artifex based currently on the occupied lands of the western United States. He is an occultist who walks an ever-evolving eclectic path in magic and the Mysteries. Hugh is deeply fascinated by languages— how words, symbols, and scripts bridge divides across time, cultures, and societies to bring wisdom to contemporary challenges.
Outside of his astrological work, he loves to cook and has an experimental approach to food, striving to add color and richness to a lifestyle very much oriented towards physical and mental well-being. He lives by the tenets that one should strive daily to find balance and to know thyself.

Welcome back to the Spicy Rendezvous! This is the eighth episode in our series of moving with Mars as they move through the signs. And no surprise this episode is arriving late since Mars has passed Aquarius, but of course Saturn-ruled Mars had to take their sweeeeet time being ready to publish!

Today we have Déjà Lewis, who is known by Déjà The Jovian, on the show to talk about Mars in Aquarius. We discussed inclusion vs exclusion, wars of words, longevity, belonging, community, what it means to be a friend, taking things personally, moderating conflict, hot and cold treatments, and the differences between Mars being ruled by Saturn in Capricorn vs Aquarius. Déjà the Jovian (she/her/hers) is a Philadelphia-based traditional astrologer who helps people live a purposeful life by decoding the language of the stars. She has been practicing astrology for 5 years and recently took a sabbatical to focus on her local work in Philadelphia. Her work includes natal chart and timing sessions, along with a specialty in vocational career readings and branding strategies for entrepreneurs. Today we are going deep sea diving into the darkest of swamps.

This episode features Carol-Anne Steinhoff to talk about the Moon in their fall of Scorpio and placed in the 12th House. This placement has been a shared battlefield where we have fought and bonded, and I’m thrilled to shed light on it together.
