Who's a good boy? Oreo is a good boy! He's only two. His family had to move away without him... He's been a shelter staff and volunteer favorite in the short time he's been at The Humane Society of Sheboygan County. He's super social and great with other dogs, but not a fan of cats. Oreo totally fits him too. He's got that chocolate color on the outside with that white cream filling in the middle. He really can’t wait to meet you at The Humane Society Of Sheboygan County. Meet Porkchop. (His name totally fits him...) He's the friendliest furry dude you've ever met! He's from Arkansas. He came to The Humane Society of Sheboygan County via a recent transport from an overcrowded shelter down south. Porkchop is a two year old brown terrier mix. Happy dog alert! He's been at the shelter for a little over four months. He recently had a day out with shelter volunteers and had a blast at the beach! Cullen is the cutest ever... Right? He's from Oklahoma. He came to The Humane Society of Sheboygan County via a recent transport from an overcrowded shelter down south. And no, he doesn't MEOW with a southern accent. Cullen is ten going on two. He's considered "special needs" as he's tested FIV positive. What does that mean? Nothing major... really. Ayla is a six year old boxer-bulldog mix searching for her happy home. She was brought in to The Humane Society Of Sheboygan County with an untreated ear infection that caused a ruptured eardrum. Poor Ayla has a small head-tilt because of this. It doesn't bother her if it doesn't bother you. She's a super happy and very affectionate little girl that can't wait to learn more. Super soft and furry alert! TWO BUNNIES! Janis Hoplin is only a year old. She was trans-FUR-ed to The Humane Society Of Sheboygan County from another shelter. She's only a year old. She's a super sweet mini-rex rabbit. She's fixed and microchipped and is a good girl when using her litter box. Storm is about three years old. She's a silver fox mixed rabbit. She was brought in as a stray! She's clearly a friendly pet. She loves veggies and can't wait to meet you. Jesy from The Humane Society Of Sheboygan County talks about the shelter's need for foster homes right now. She also tells us the shelter has regular white copy paper on their wish list this week. Meet sweet Frankie! Look at those whiskers... and those eyes! Frankie is an eleven year old special needs kitty looking for that purrrr-fect human to love him. When Frankie came in to The Humane Society of Sheboygan County he wasn't super friendly... come to find out poor Frankie was dealing with a seizure disorder. After medication and some love he completely came out of his fog and warmed up to the shelter staff and volunteers. His disorder is completely under control with medication and it's not something anyone should be afraid of. He is the perfect mix of affection and independence. Frankie isn't a huge fan of being picked up... unless it's his idea. He's a live stuffed animal for sure. He's SUPER soft! Meet Thor. He's trying so hard to be a good boy. He's a frisky fella. He's a 7 year old Great Dane and Lab mix. He was surrendered to The Humane Society Of Sheboygan County because he wasn't getting along with the other animals in his former home. Poor Thor is just trying to be a dog and do what he thinks he's supposed to do. The shelter staff and volunteers have him on their favorite animals list. They know he just needs to find the perfect situation and home. Maybe that's with you... or someone you know? Thor hopes so too. Jesy from The Humane Society Of Sheboygan County has some thanks for people that took part in their virtual gala last week... She also talks about their application and appointment policy to come meet one on one with their adoptable animals.
