Some of the things we talked about included his background in the Bronx, his various musical influences, how labels have split up the music scene way too much (including the terms "Black Rock", "Black Music" etc.), his current and future music projects both on the solo tip & with Living Colour, some rather bugged out occurrences he had in the music industry, the importance of cultural ties in the creation of music and a lot of other cool things!

Some of the topics we covered in this in depth interview with the long established & classic Hip-Hop MC include his various creative influences & background in Trenton NJ, the drastic need for balance in Hip-Hop music and the media outlets in general and why such a huge changeover in the different types of Hip-Hop people were exposed to changed in the mainstream from the 1990s onward, his work with the IntelligentSEEDZ non-profit youth organization, Wise Intelligent's latest album project "The UnConkable Djezuz Jonez" & upcoming book dropping this year along with lots more good stuff!

After a bit of a mini-hiatus due to 9 to 5 action on both of our ends, winter vacation, FuseBox Radio outside business (lots of mini-music episodes and more dropping shortly post-website revamp!) and more, we're back with a talk-based mini-episode about what we've been up to lately, DJ Fusion's reflections on turning 40, the f*ckery of the government shutdown here in the States (from it's effects on regular people to just how completely stupid & unnecessary it is in the first damned place), the first few parts of the "Surviving R. Kelly" documentary on Lifetime TV & the responses about it (from common sense to straight "What The F*ck" stuff with deflection from various corners) due it's topics of sexual abuse on Black children and Black Women, recent TV and movies that we've seen (some Netflix biz, "Aquaman" in 4DX, "Into the Spiderverse" and more) with some other scattered topics here and there.
