No, we don't believe Jesus was a racist. Some people do believe he was a racist, and those people point to a specific passage in the Bible that they use as evidence. We talked about that passage and what it really means. We also talk about how Christianity is often used in the culture wars, by people who don't believe in Christianity, to get Christians to acquiesce.

We also poke fun at a lot of stupid news. Sadly, the stupid news is real.

Our culture has been overrun with cancel culture. Wokeism is censoring speech woke ideology deems offensive. How should you respond when someone makes a, seemingly, rational claim about canceling something? Should you accept it because the request seems benign? Or should you reject the claim and tell the woke to "stop it?" We recommend the latter. In this episode we talk about how to respond to the woke mob, and why it is important to stop the madness.

We change gears with this episode and discuss something near and dear to our hears--Freemasonry. We've received a lot of inquiries asking what Freemasonry is. So this episode we talk about Freemasonry, why we think Freemasonry is needed, and why we chose to become Masons.

Our society continues to embrace narcissism. Many people throw caution to the wind and live for the moment--intent on maximizing everything they want to the detriment to themselves and their loved ones. We discussed how practicing temperance can change society one person at a time. After all, a self-disciplined society has little need for laws and regulations.

We inch closer and closer to that 50th episode! This is a slightly longer episode than normal, brought on because we talked about something that is near and dear to our hearts. The focus of this episode is leadership--more specifically, leadership at the highest levels. Too many people in upper management tend to lose focus between the difference of management and leadership. This isn't always the fault of the manager, it can often be the result of the organization and the culture within that organization. Often, managers simply don't know what they should know. In this discussion we talked about the Masonic fraternity--an organization that prides itself on building community leaders. Have we, as Masons, become managers in our attempt to manage our fraternity to new growth? Have we failed to actually lead? We wrestled with the questions: Why can one side riot and commit acts of violence but the other side cannot? Why can one side call for establishing socialism, but the other side cannot call for the return to Constitutional principles? We also talked about religion. More specifically, the purpose of religion throughout human history. Did you know the vast majority of armed conflict was not caused by religious differences? Probably not.
