Joined once again by fellow United sufferer, sorry I mean fan, Kevin, and we finally talked about Manchester United *exclusively*, sort of.
After going on a sight Bayern v United tangent (02:45) we spoke about the expectations v the reality of United's 21/22 season (04:30), the Champions League campaign so far and thoughts on the round of 16 tie (15:58) with a slight detour at Ajax of course. Back on course with Premier League chat and thoughts on Ralf Rangnick so far (34:15) before talking (belatedly) about the January transfer window (45:06). In today's episode? Liverpool! I am joined by Andrew representing the Klopp society and we take a trip down memory lane (02:50), talk about Klopp's revival of Liverpool (05:25) and also re-examine Liverpool's title winning season (10:30). What is Liverpool up to this season (17:21) and how can the squad be strengthened (24:03)? After the break, we discuss Klopp's Liverpool legacy so far (41:03), how Liverpool's transfer window has played out (47:06) before getting a bit concerned about Liverpool's home grown player quota and the direction of the academy (53:30). We give Virgil his well deserved credit (01:09:53) before capping it all off with now out dated but still fun Chelsea v Liverpool predictions (01:14:10), Champions League group draw predictions (01:19:11) and some hot takes for the road (01:28:20)
