Today we are going to take a look at an Open Source company that is accelerating data with their storage engine, but we are also going to see how moving to an open source model really accelerated their growth.
Hey everybody, this is Chris Brandt, here with Sandesh Patel. Welcome to another FUTR podcast.
With all the competition in the market, shifting to an Open Source model can really be a differentiator. When the founders of Speedb were trying to find a way to accelerate their data access, they looked at the available tools and realized that to get something that would handle the rapid expansion of metadata, they would need to build it themselves. When they took it to market, they realized that getting their message to the people who needed to hear it was difficult. By switching to an Open Source model they caught the attention of the developers at the heart of their market. So let's talk with Speedb co-founder and CEO Adi Gelvan about what their journey and about how their storage engine can help with the expansion of metadata in your environment
Welcome Adi

If you are like me, you have been building automation into your home. I started with lights and plugs and that became locks and cameras and so many other items. All the lighting here is automated. But all of those disparate pieces of tech need to work together. We don't always think about what goes on behind the scenes to make that happen. Today we are going to dig into that.
Hey everybody, this is Chris Brandt here with Sandesh Patel, welcome to another FUTR podcast.

The word that we hear over and over is transformation. Well, what happens when the company that helps you transform, transforms. Today we are going to be talking about the state of the technology industry and what matters now.
Insight enterprises started as a mail order business selling hard drives in 1988, but today is a multi-billion dollar, Fortune 500, global technology company. Insight is transforming itself to be a leading solutions integrator. But what does that even mean and why does it matter to customers?
In the interest of full transparency, I wanted to say that Sandesh and I both work for Insight.
That said, this is an important story, as things are rapidly changing in this market, and Insight is changing to meet these new demands. So, today we have with us Stan Lequin, President of Insight Solutions. Stan is going to tell us all about what goes in to being a Solutions Integrator, why it is important and what Insight brings to today's market.
Welcome Stan

One of the things I love is seeing technology applied to everyday things you don't think much about. If you have ever spent much time in a high rise building, you have been startled by someone with a brush and squeegee outside of your window. Window washing is a business that hasn't changed a whole lot over its history, but now there is a company that is changing that.
Hey everybody, this is Chris Brandt here with Sandesh Patel, welcome to another FUTR podcast.
Today we are talking with Ross Blum, President and COO of Skyline Robotics a company that is looking to disrupt the very blue collar word of the facade maintenance industry with intelligent robotics. This isn't just an automated car wash for buildings, this is more like car assembly line robotics. So let's talk to Ross about why they built this and where this is all going.
Welcome Ross

Today we are talking with a company that has a platform that can deliver that functionality with a simple interface and automation to help you manage it.
Hey everybody, this is Chris Brandt here with Sandesh Patel, welcome to another FUTR podcast.

Do you know who has access to our most sensitive data. Seems like it should be an easy question, but in a world increasingly dominated by distributed cloud and hybrid cloud environments, this can be a harder question than you think to answer. That assumes you even know how to go about finding those answers. Today we are talking with a company that can solve that problem for you.
Hey everybody, this is Chris Brandt here with Sandesh Patel, welcome to another FUTR podcast.
In 2020, when the rush to cloud was in full effect, the founders of Veza asked tech leaders what their biggest concern about this was, and they said it was knowing who had access to their data. So they built Veza, an Identity, Authorization and Access platform. So today we have with us frequent FUTR.tv offender and Veza CRO, Brian O'Shea to tell us why identity and access is so important and how Veza makes it easy.
Welcome Brian

We have talked a lot about security. One of the biggest challenge is not knowing where the next attack is going to come from, and the list of vulnerabilities changes every day. Today we are going to talk with a company that is looking to help you understand what your attack surface looks like.
Hey everybody, this is Chris Brandt here with Sandesh Patel, welcome to another FUTR podcast.
If you don't know what your vulnerabilities are, it is very hard to protect your environment. It is also impossible to understand what your priorities should be. Pentera offers an agentless, autonomous and continuous validation of your environment, to give you the best picture of your attack surface. Pentera overlaps several of the Gartner categories, from Breach and Attack Simulation to Attack Surface Management, but it is something a little different. So today, we have with us Petera's Director of Sales Engineering, Jay Mar-Tang, to tell us all about it.
Welcome Jay
