Taylor Swift is not out of the woods yet and surprised us with folklore’s sister album, “evermore.” In the world of reboots, there are winners and losers. This week’s winner is an “iCarly” revival coming to Paramount+. This week’s loser, much to Vee’s dismay, is Lizzie McGuire after failed attempts to get Disney to allow Lizzie to be a ~spicy~ adult. The Paul brothers continue their journey of eternal assholery with Jake Paul trash talking (and throwing trash) at Conor McGregor and his coach. Tom Cruise cussed out his crew on Mission Impossible 7 (we had no idea there were that many movies…) for breaking COVID protocols. Vee went “Yikes!” to Shia LeBeouf’s alleged abuse of FKA Twigs (and potentially others). It was a busy week in Bachelor Nation with two episodes and Tayshia dumping a lot of men. The Men Tell All didn’t tell us much more and just confirmed how disgusting of a human Yosef is. The final four men brought some fun cardboard versions of “home” to La Quinta. Si & Veronica are all lubed up (IYKYK) for episode 142! A piece of our childhood was killed this past week with the shuttering of Radio Disney. YouTubers are making forays into different industries these days, with Logan Paul set to box Mayweather and the “leak” of a very choreographed sex tape of Jay Alvarrez. We may have to wait longer to listen to Drake’s new album, even though OBJ said it was dropping New Year’s Day 一 which wouldn’t that be the best way to ring in the new year? Ariana Grande will be dropping a sweetener tour movie on Netflix as a nice christmas gift to the Arianators. Olivia Jade joined the ladies of Red Table Talk to discuss the college admissions scandal and all that she has learned since then. Si & Veronica are thankful for you all and this episode 140! Another awards show, another thing that we didn’t watch but give you the footnotes on! The Weeknd won at the AMAs but got a major snub from the Grammys. Drake Bell has rebranded as Drake Campana to take his career to the Spanish-speaking world. Sherwin-Williams missed out on potential marketing gold by firing a part-time employee for his viral Tik Toks. Taylor Swift may have gotten her masters back under her wing, but Dave Chappelle is facing a similar battle for the show that bears his name. Netflix obliged him by taking down “The Chappelle Show” from its platform until he can gain ownership of it. Vee went “Yikes” to all the controversy surrounding Sia’s new movie “Music” and its lack of actual neurodivergent actors to fill the role of the lead on the autism spectrum. This week on the Bachelorette was probably one of the best episodes we have seen in awhile. They got deep with Ivan and Tayshia’s talk about being people of color in predominantly white spaces. They got funny with the men faking orgasms into the resort intercom. But in general, Tayshia reminded everyone she was not here for the bullshit. Both of us are in our romantic feels with our opening song pick and some of our recent watches as we head deeper into this dark cuffing season. But at least Vee has Michael B. Jordan’s beautiful self as the cover star and People’s Sexiest Man Alive to give her something hot to look at. The Weeknd was announced as the halftime performer for the Super Bowl in February. Two of music’s baddest bitches have albums dropping in the next couple weeks, first Megan Thee Stallion with her (technical) debut album “Good News” and then Miley Cyrus with “Plastic Hearts.” We are hyped for the Fresh Prince reunion that is out NOW on HBO Max. Just when we thought LinkedIn was the slowest to hop on the “Stories” game, Twitter entered the arena with their version called “Fleets.” Harry Styles becomes the first man to grace the Vogue cover solo and in a dress no less. Vee went “Yikes!” to the conservative pundits’ outdated commentary on masculinity, as well as everyone acting like Harry is the first musician to don gender non-conforming clothes. Tayshia got down and oily with the men this week on a couple group dates. In the music world, Roc Nation made moves to sign Christina Aguilera; and Post Malone for the first time since 2017 made moves off of the Hot 100 charts. With Halloween a couple weeks behind us, ‘tis the season for some Christmas content. JoJo dropped a new holiday album, and a lesbian holiday romcom starring KStew will be hitting our screens in a few weeks. Even though it seems like most of the world didn’t know it, Emma Roberts is pregnant and now holds the title as the first pregnant covergirl for Cosmo magazine. The mighty have fallen when it comes to celebrity megachurch Hillsong’s rockstar pastor and his wife as they were fired this past week. Vee went “Yikes!” in a funny way to the whole Four Seasons snafu with Trump’s press conference venue. For a tad more of a serious “Yikes!”, we questioned Eva Longoria’s misspeaking on MSNBC by calling Latina women the “real heroines” over other women of color. We had two episodes of Bachelorette to catch up on as there was a mostly peaceful passing of power from Clare to Tayshia. Clare showed her true crazy on her final episode and mini “After The Final Rose”. Tayshia is already proving to be the Bachelorette for the people with how smoothly she is handling the spotlight and the new hotties. Hilary Duff and her hubby are welcoming their second child together (and her third child overall). Mark Cuevas from “Love Is Blind” and his still very new girlfriend are also expecting a child! And Blake Shelton finally put a ring on Gwen Stefani. Si is thinking about shaving a heart into his head like his favorite Certified Lover Boy, Drake, after seeing his album trailer. “Saved By The Bell” dropped the promo for their reboot and people are on the fence. Will it be the right kind of corny? Vee went “Yikes!” to Kim K’s tone deaf birthday trip and post. Last time we checked, going to a private island isn’t usually considered “normal.” Week 3 of the Bachelorette had a lot to unpack from the constant Dale time, the kiss conundrum, and the spicy Tayshia teaser at the end. Si & Veronica are exhausted but always excited to bring you episode 135! AOC kept her crown as Gen Z and Millennial fave politician by hosting a Twitch stream of the game “Among Us.” Ariana Grande dropped her album art and her new single will be out by the time you’re listening to this (or will be dropping in mere hours). One of our favorite shows, “New Girl,” did a micro reunion to get people to the polls. The oldest brother from “Home Improvement” was arrested for strangling his girlfriend. Vee went “Yikes!” to the biggest Zoom oops EVER. Jeffrey Toobin was caught doing the personal nasty on a Zoom call for work (i.e. the New Yorker and CNN). It’s week 2 of Clare’s journey to love and this week just highlighted her insecurities around needing constant validation from these men. And her one-on-one date with Jason was pretty much just an unregulated group therapy session… We weren’t fans of the strip dodgeball either.
