We’ll be honest… this social distancing and isolation is already getting to us so we might be all over the place. It also doesn’t help that MC brought us some Remy so we were feeling loose… COVID-19 is hitting us where it hurts i.e. Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson and one of the Sexiest Men Alive, Idris Alba, have all contracted it. Even the Met Gala has been postponed. We get into what is making us nervous and upset about the pandemic. Si is pissed he can’t go to Costa Rica and Vee had a panic attack about being in Miami during this time. Vee went “Yikes!” to people PHYSICALLY FIGHTING over toilet paper. Si & Veronica are back from our respective trips to Florida for episode 102! And don’t worry, we have been washing our hands with soap and water for 30 seconds! The ladies of music are coming out with some new bops. Lady Gaga, The Dixie Chicks, and Demi Lovato are all coming back from hiatus. Megan Thee Stallion is bringing new music after struggling with her label and contract negotiations. James Lipton from Inside the Actors Studio passed away recently, so Vee and Si ask each other some of his famous favorite questions. What is your favorite curse word? There was some brief baby beef brewing between (say that three times fast) North West and Zaza after Northie covered Zaza’s song on the Yeezy runway without crediting her. The moms settled the issue, but some other grown-ups were trying to pick sides between these kindergarteners. Vee went “Yikes!” to white women trying to call “reverse racism” on a new line of feminine products created by a black woman for Target. We spun our mini main topic into the slightly ominous “bullying” segment that was on the Bachelor’s Women Tell All. Why is it so easy to hate from behind our phones? Si & Veronica are back in action for our dalmatians episode, 101. Tik Tokers are benefiting off of black girls’ dances and the NBA finally stood up for the OGs. One of NBA’s greats and his daughter were honored in a beautiful memorial this week at the Staples Center. Bachelor is looking to take over our lives with all of their spin-offs. From now through September we will see the end of Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise with Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart, Bachelor: Summer Games and Bachelor: The Golden Years filling in all the breaks in between. What will be more entertaining: bad love songs or old people going to the fantasy suite? Pete Davidson comes back to help keep the lights on with some new shade on his shade queen ex, Ari. Vee went “Yikes!” to all things Jake Paul this week. This man needs to step away from Twitter and stop tweeting nonsense about anxiety or Zayn Malik. Si & Veronica start on a somber note for episode 97 with Kobe and Gigi Bryant in our hearts. We are sending thoughts and prayers to the families of all of those on the helicopter that died that day. Besides doing a tribute for Kobe in his home stadium, the Grammys were a big night for Billie Eilish and Tyler the Creator. Dolly Parton has become a meme queen on top of all of her other accomplishments (and right around her bday as a nice cherry on top). Veronica got overly hyped for the split of Bachelor Nation’s Grocery Store Joe and Kendall because that means that she has a chance!! Vee went (slightly) “Yikes!” to lyrics in one of Eminem’s new songs that reference the Manchester bombing at an Ariana Grande concert.
