It isn’t all just a money grab it’s about making the feed more relevant. It punishes bad posts and rewards good ones.

July 23, 2018 What We've Learnt Since Starting a Business
We didn't know failure should be expected.
How?
The biggest thing we have learnt since starting JCF Media has been learning to accept failure and move on.
Every day we get up work as hard as we can. Every day we get up and try new things.
Inevitably, every day we get up and fail miserably.
There are days where Chris and I sit there and say “what the hell are we doing here?”
But for all of those days, there are 100x more days when we say “I love this!”
As we have learnt, failure is a part of life and a part of our business. As we look to grow and expand we won’t win every time.
Instead of looking at it as a failure, we look at it as a learning curve.
We are so fascinated by this we even have an excel spreadsheet outlining each thing we did well for a customer and each thing we could improve on.

The best Doctor in the world hasn't been discovered yet.
Why?
Because they aren't the best marketers in the world.
I have been a little under the weather lately. Trying to find the best Doctor has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. I have been searching high and low. The few that I went to weren't much help at all.
Now the only reason I went to these Doctors, was because they were the highest ranked in Google.
So I thought to myself, people could have incredible services, but if their marketing is below average. No one will know!
Therefore, it is a disservice to your customers to not have your marketing in order.

Why do they matter?
Well, 93% of customers say that their buying decisions are influenced by reviews.
93%!!!!!!!!!
That alone should spark your interest.
We are also seeing a large reliance on Reviews for Local Search Engine rankings. Google is favouring those who receive more reviews!
Also the visual component on a local Search Engine. The more reviews, the more “Real Estate” on the page you take up!
We ALWAYS recommend implementing a customer review strategy.
We’ve heard of barber shops offering free beers for a Google Review. Or Free socks with every review. Now that may be a bit far or is it??
