This week my guest is Raphael Kavita, one of my Glenmary brothers from Kenya. He was gracious enough to sit down with me and share a bit about his story, as well as talk about the recent international mass that we celebrated this week with the St. Meinrad community. The event was a wonderful reminder to me of the beauty of the universal church.

This week I reflect on my action packed sports day on Saturday, and the lessons I learned from failure. Overall it’s been another great week here at Saint Meinrad with lots of things to be thankful for! Stay tuned for more updates

This week my guest is Andre, a seminarian from New Hampshire. He is also the student manager for project warm, a really neat ministry here in the local area. I really enjoyed chatting with him this week and I hope you all will take something away from hearing his story!

Today I discuss a few takeaways from my first full week of classes here at Saint Meinrad, both of which helped to justify, at least to me anyways, why Priests spend so many years in formation. In addition I sit down with Gabriel Strong, another new student with Glenmary to hear his story. You won’t want to miss it!

In todays episode I recount my experience this week during our Intensive Spiritual Formation Week. This week was super fruitful and a great opportunity to meet many of the other seminarians here at St. Meinrad. And now it’s on to our first official day of classes tomorrow! Today’s episode features an interview with Fr. Augustine Guzman, my pastor from Rock Hill SC. Fr. Augustine is a member of the Rock Hill oratory and he is serves as the head pastor at two Parishes in the area, both of which are pretty unique. He is also involved with the Newman club for Winthrop university in Rock Hill.

Todays episode features an interview with my good friend Matthew Cope, a classmate of mine from Clemson. Him and I see the world very differently, and as such he has been a great sounding board for me as someone who is able to help me see a different perspective on things. This conversation was such a great reminder to me of the importance of friends and how much of a difference it makes to have good friends in your life.

Today I welcome good friends Zach and Drew Waters to the podcast, as I discuss with them the impact they had on my spiritual journey. Zach was a teammate of mine from high school in track and cross country, and his family hosted a weekly discipleship group called boot camp durring my high school years. This weekly gathering at the Waters home provided a great environment for me to grow my faith during that time in my life.

This week marks the beginning of a new season on the podcast, a season of transition for me as I prepare to begin seminary formation in just a few short weeks! I look forward to continuing to share my spiritual journey with y’all.
