Caroline was a member of TED's Residency program in spring 2018, where she worked on and delivered a TED talk about the advertising industry's role in creating the current crisis in partisan media. She also was a 2020 tech policy fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation (formerly Lincoln Network) and gave a 2019 TEDxBoulder talk about voter engagement around tech policy. She has served on the board of directors of youth tech literacy organization Mouse, as well as on the advisory councils of the Center for Democracy and Technology and the International Center for Not-For-Profit Law.
