Anthony and Shane are impressed by Meta and Microsoft's strategic plays to lead in AI through supercomputing power, developer mindshare and product integration respectively. This contrasts with Google which lacks a cohesive AI strategy despite pioneering nearly all the early research that drives GenAI we use today.
