This week we take a crash course through all the different factions available for Warmachine & Hordes. At the suggestion from the Warmachine & Hordes for Beginners FB group we wanted to give some more content focused on newer players to help them decide where to go when they first look at or pick up the game.

So here it is, 2 hours of what you get out of each faction.

We look at the unique selling point of each faction, its aesthetic and feel, and the playstyle and what to expect to put on the table for the major themes.

We intentionally skirt around the cross-faction themes, and give less time to the more complicated factions such as limited factions that bring their own unique mechanic (such as Convergence or Infernals), and we give a very light touch to Mercenaries and Minions to avoid spending an extra hour on the cast to give a lot of complicated info that you don't really need to hear when you are early in your Warmachine life.

The rules were there to see, but not live but from all that is said, it just helped to pump the event to the next level with the amount of hype about the changes.
