Thanks for listening!

You asked for more "Draft" episodes, and we listened! After building our dream Justice Leagues and assembling our favorite Avengers, it's finally time to embrace our inner supervillains! Join The Irredeemable Shag, Brett Young, Chris Franklin, Paul Kien, Sean Ross, and John Steib for an epic DC villain draft as they battle to build the ultimate LEGION OF DOOM!

The rules are simple... sort of:

7 villains per team

Snake draft format

Round 1: Draft one of the founding members of the classic Challenge of the Super Friends Legion of Doom. Choose wisely, because once a villain is selected, every incarnation and legacy of that character is off the board for everyone else. And all of the remaining classic Legion of Doom members who were not chosen are eliminated from the draft!

Rounds 2–6: Any other DC villain is fair game!

Final Round: Everyone gets a unique incarnation of Lex Luthor to complete their team.

Then YOU get to decide which team deserves to rule the DC Universe! After listening, check out the visual rosters, and then vote for your favorite Legion of Doom team in the comments on this post. One lucky commenter will win a FREE T-shirt from the Fire & Water Podcast Network merch store!

SPOILER ALERT - After listening, check out the visual representations of each of our teams here:

The Hall of Doom is open for business... and evil has never been so much fun!

You asked for it - you got it! Another all-star fantasy draft special - this time starring The Avengers!  Join the Irredeemable Shag, Brett Young, Sean Ross, Ryan Daly, Tim Price, and Paul Kien as they select superheroes from the Marvel Universe to form their own Avengers team.

Reminder of the rules:

7 member teams

Snake draft format

First round pick must be a version of Captain America, Thor, or Iron Man

Person is unique, not hero identity - both for legacy heroes and multiverse

Vote for the team you would most want to read about every month and be eligible for the T-Shirt drawing from our Merch store!

Thanks to Fire & Water patron Michael Crouch for suggesting this topic! Shag, Siskoid and Paul discuss the late 1980s series The Maze Agency! Created by Mike W. Barr, and illustrated by a young Adam Hughes, it was a true “whodunit” mystery series. We discuss the art, the mysteries, and the realistic and developing relationship between the two protagonists. Along the way, we also share its publication history and mini-bios for Barr and Hughes. Come join us – the game is afoot!
