UTRGV Student Organization “Access for Sex Education” sits down with the UTRGV FYE Podcast team for an in-depth discussion on the importance of sexual education of incoming freshmen in universities, and break down the social and societal stigmas that surround sex education in general, particularly in south Texas. ‘Access for Sex Education’ works alongside the ‘Access Esperanza Clinics’ whose mission is to “Provide education, advocacy, and affordable, high-quality health care so women and men in our community can access the sexual and reproductive health services they need.” All students are encouraged to attend the events that the organization creates, and make an appointment with the ‘Access Esperanza Clinics’ for related consultations.
