Today we're talking about the letter G, and that's all about Goals.

The way we set goals is kind of f***ed up. #Truth

Dr Lee is all about ease and pleasure, and has found that it's hard to live in that space when you set goals the way we've all been taught -- primarily from Hustle mode. (See episode E is for Energy for more on "hustle".)

Goal setting has to start with really being aware of your desires. (So if you're not sure of what those desires are, go back and listen to episode D is for Desire!)

How do we traditionally set goals? First we decide on what we want to "be". Often this is what we think we should want vs what we actually want...and we think it's going to solve all our problems.

That's when the struggle bus starts... the journey isn't always what we anticipated... and so we aren't happy even though we've achieved the goal.
