I sit down with my first guest, Hector Sifuentes, co-owner of Tenoch Labs and stand-up comedian. He shares his personal stories about wanting to be a "super thug" in middle school, joining a predominantly white fraternity, transferring to a new university 2 years in, we get a behind the scenes look at getting his first major client for Tenoch and get some insight into his start and present day experience as a young stand-up comedian.

I share the story of my parent's immigrating to the US and how that has given me perspective in life. A large chunk of this podcast, is sort of a "call to action" for young 1st generation Xicano's (like me) to stop making excuses, realize our opportunities and continue moving forward. I wrap it up by giving insight into my perspective on how I navigate my time, money and values.

This is my intro episode in which I elaborate on a quote that has helped shape my purpose and direction in life as an educated Xicano from the hood and son of immigrant parents from MX. I share the story of how I got started as a filmmaker and skateboarder. Then I revisit and reflect on an interview I did when I was 17 years old. Ultimately, telling the story of how my experiences have inspired me to start this podcast.
