Today’s episode is the finale for season one and with one of my favorite bands Kyoto Lo-Fi. I chatted with Nico, Paul, Gabe, and Nunu about how they began, their musical influences, live performances, and more! This Dallas based band released their first EP in 2016 titled Black Rainbow and recently their first full album in September of 2020 titled It’s An Ok Life. All of their music is available on streaming platforms as well as on vinyl on bandcamp. If you want to hear more about what this band is up to (trust me, you do), check them out on instagram and twitter @kyotolofi. If you'd like to listen to any of the albums they discussed, check out the playlist Kyoto Lo-Fi (Lifetime Albums) on Spotify. Thank you to everyone who has supported this podcast during its first season. It has been an amazing opportunity to talk to some of my favorite people about some of my favorite things.
