This week was our 'Love' week at G2, so we continued our series on Matthew, by looking at the Greatest Commandment Matthew 22:34-40: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself'. Finally, we heard from Emily, who unpacked the second half of this passage - loving our neighbour as we love ourselves.

This week at G2 we had an extended period of time in extended prayer and worship. Naturally, this doesn't lend itself to a standard podcast, so this week follow along with the service as it was in the room. We followed a path paved throughout multiple psalms, starting in lament, and ending in joy and praise to God. They'll be some periods of teaching, some periods of worship, and some periods of response. This week Luke exposes a side of Jesus you might not have heard before, Jesus as a jester! Jesters provoke authority, they speak truth to power and they make people question the obvious. Jesus is the Messiah, arriving into Jerusalem where he knows he will be killed. He has revealed himself as the Messiah, yet he arrives on the foal of a donkey.
