This week Matt provided the context for Holly's amazing Discipleship group teaching which you can find on our YouTube. For necessary context(!), the room was split horizontally with four tables, mirroring the contemporary temple. Lean in now to discover why the temple was set up in this way, but also why the sacrifice of Jesus permanently transformed it - allowing for complete reconciliation.

It was fantastic to do Ignition Sunday this week! This is where we hear from three different members of our Church community who have never previously spoken at G2 before. First up we had Toby, who spoke to us on the pressure comparison puts on our identity, and how the Gospel answers that challenge.

This week we were so excited to be able to baptise Sam, Beth, and Phillippa! And afterwards it was fab to hear from Andy Baker, who came from our sister Church St Michael Le Belfrey, and spoke to us on Esekiel 47:1-12.

This week at G2 was a little bit different. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus is nearly always going to, from, or having a meal, and so we believe it is so important to also share food as a community. This Sunday, between eating, Matt, Fiona, and Hannah spoke to us on Matthew 14 and Jesus feeding the 5000, tying in a Gospel contemplation, the scriptual links to Psalm 23, and how Jesus models repsonding to grief.
