Welcome to G220 Radio! In this episode, join Mike, Ricky and our guest co-host Michael Williams returns to our series through the Book of Proverbs. We will examine Proverbs 16:1-18. Matthew Henry begins in his commentary with verse 1 of this chapter by stating, "As we read this, it teaches us a great truth, that we are not sufficient of ourselves to think or speak anything of ourselves that is wise and good, but that all our sufficiency is of God, who is with the heart and with the mouth, and works in us both to will and to do, Phil. 2:13; Ps. 10:17. But most-read it otherwise: The preparation of the heart is in man (he may contrive and design this and the other) but the answer of the tongue, not only the delivering of what he designed to speak but the issue and success of what he designed to do, is of the Lord." Will you join us as we seek to incline our hearts and minds to the word of the Lord that we might understand, help those watching, and/or listening to understand and apply the biblical wisdom we glean from Proverbs 16.
In this episode of G220 Radio, Steve Christie returns as our guest to talk with us about Marian Dogma. Just recently, Mr. Christie debated Trent Horn on Marian Dogmas, which we would encourage you to watch, and we are thankful to have Steve Christie join us to discuss this topic with us in light of what the scriptures teach about Mary.
In this episode of G220 Radio, Ricky will be looking at the church both catholic and local.
Often the argument is made that church membership is not mentioned in the scriptures, or that we do not need to go to a building to do church but rather that we are the church and therefore we can gather with a friend or two at a coffee shop and that's doing church. Is that the case?
Are they correct?
Well, let's examine the scriptures and see what they say.
In this episode of G220 Radio, Ricky and Mike will discuss the first half of the Book of Proverbs.
Proverbs gives us practical wisdom which we should apply to our daily lives as we walk out our faith in Christ, seeking out the wisdom of God rather than the wisdom of man because there is a way that seems right to a man, but it's end is the way of death.
Tonight on G220 Radio at 9 pm EST
Join us as we talk about church discipline.
Mike and I will be joined by a couple of guests as we discuss what the Bible says about church discipline. With all the talk about church discipline lately due to the article by Julie Roys on John MacArthur and an issue that happened 20 years ago where church discipline was involved, there has been much talk about what church discipline should look like but unfortunately many have an idea of this process but does it actually line up with the scriptures. That’s what we will be seeking to examine on the show tonight as we open the scripture.
In this episode of G220 Radio Pastor and Author Joshua West joins us to share his testimony, the ministry he is a part of, and the books he authored.
In this episode of G220 Radio, Ricky & Mike are joined by guest co-host Tim Tant of Conversations with Christians to discuss Proverbs chapter 13.
In this episode of G220 Radio, Ricky & Mike will talk about Saint Patrick. Today people celebrate St. Paddy's day with green beer, parades, and the legends of Saint Patrick, who chased away all the snakes out of Ireland, used the Shamrock to teach the Trinity and had a walking stick that grew into a tree.
What do you know about this man known as Saint Patrick?
